Every year Anant chaturdashi is known as a day of visarjan/immersion of ganeshgalli's ganesha's idol.
  on this day a huge " Visarjan vidhi/immersion procession " of ganesha begins in the morning at 9.30 am. 
  Thousands of devotees participate in this procession with the soulfull music of Shehnai , Dhol tashe and lord 
  ganesha's various devotional songs. 
             The Lezim troops, and live orchestra bands also participate in it. Devotees throw gulal and flowers all 
  over the procession

The procession starts from Ganesh galli towards Girgaon chowpaty via DR. 
S.S Rao road - Ganesh cinema -Chinchpokli bridge - Arthur road corner - Saat rasta - Sane guruji marg -
 Agreepada - Dr . Bhadkamkar marg ------ - Opera house - Willson collage - Girgaon chowpaty.

               during the Procession the Ganeshgalli's ganesha idol is heartly welcomed by thousands of devotees at
 many places on its way to the chowpaty.at various places volunteeres and local peoples do the " Pushpa Vrishti"
 ( i.e offering of thousands of flowers on ganesha's idol.)
