Lalbaug sarvajanik utsav mandal " has a long tradition of social activities, which is designed in a way that thease
acti- vities can help all grades of our socity. Blood donation camps, Navratri utsav & Dushera utsav, Ganesh book bank & ---
several others are some of them . Our mandal also involved in promotions of AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAM , GENERAL
AWARENESS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH, CLEANLINESS MOVEMENT for the peoples of lalbaug.
The main intention behind the mandal is, to spread the Ganeshbhakti and a sense of unity and community in not
only the hindus but also in other communities of this city , as devotees from all religions and communities of mumbai took
part in the ganeshgallis ganesh festival.
Till today, mandal contributed in various charity funds like Bihar Flood Relief Fund in 1959, National Defence Fund
in 1962 and 1965 war.,Orissa flood relief fund and Latur earthquake victims relief fund.
Mandal also contributed sum of Rs.50,000 to Kargil soldiers charity fund during 2001 indo-pak war. Blood donation
camps,health camps,eye care & full body checkup camps are some of the examples of mandals social commitment towards
the society.
Every year "Ganeshgalli ganesh utsav mandal" also organised "Free Health camps" for local residents of ganeshgalli
and lalbaugh.In this camps peoples can take advantage of various free tests, consultations for E.N.T problems,full body check
up and other related medical services from trained medical doctors and consultants from various medical faculties.

Every year "Ganeshgalli ganesh utsav mandal" organised blood donation camp.The only source of
blood are the volunteers that donate their own blood and help save lives.Every year hundreads of volunteers
donate their blood for this noble cause.
Ganesh Book bank
The main motto behind this book bank is to help out the students in our area to gettheir academic books
in concessional rates, which will be refunded at the end of every academic year against the book they have
submitted to our office.
